The First Governor of Kiambu County William Kabogo wants to be given the mandate of fighting corruption in the country.
Kabogo has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to appoint him in a capacity that will allow him deal with corrupt leaders in the country.
Speaking in a homecoming event of Kikuyu musician Muigai Njoroge, Kabogo said his ways are the only sure way of ensuring the menace is put to an end.
“The war on corruption must come to an end and the only way will be the use of unwarranted ways because going to courts is just derailing justice for Kenyans who are suffering.” he stated.
He further called on the President to stick to his fight stating that he has the support of Kenyans.
“Nobody can intimidate the President especially now that he has overwhelming support of Kenyans who are tired of being use and abused by corrupt leaders in our country,” Kabogo said.
He argued that Uhuru’s big 4 agenda, as well as his legacy are bound to fail if the war on corruption fails.
