An explosion in Nairobi CBD caused panic on Saturday night after a trolley pusher got injured at the junction of Ladema/Tom Mboya Street.

The incident happened after a luggage he had been asked to ferry to Kenya Cinema exploded.

According to the witnesses the owner of the luggage disappeared into the crowds immediately after the explosion.

“A man ran into the crowds after the pusher got injured but we are glad it wasn’t messy,” a bystander said.

This comes days after a terror attack at the Dusit D2 complex along riverside drive where at least 21 people lost their lives.
