Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has dismissed current political excitement in the country as a mood set by political starters.
In an interview in a local TV station, Kabando said there are political formations being put in place by veteran politicians and will be launched after 2020.
The former Legislator currently serving as chairman of the Local Authorities Provident Fund (Lapfund)said the political formations will be as a result of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
“Once launched, expect a huge wave of politics not like what we are witnessing with people fighting top leadership in the country for their own selfish gains,”
Kabando has been at the fore front of defending President Uhuru Kenyatta and is one of the proponents of the Big four agendas to crown the head of state’s legacy.
The former MP lost his seat in the 2017 elections during party primaries.
