KQ owns ONLY 3 planes, leases the rest

Kenya Airways only owns three airplanes and leases the rest, it has emerged.

This came to the public as the Parliamentary Public Investments Committee revealed that the airline is still in financial woes despite having a new board of management.

According to Mvita MP Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, the committee is investigating the owners behind the other airplanes in a bid to finding how the carrier makes losses.

The legislator stated that the committee will be summoning top company officials led by KQ CEO Sebastian Mikosz to unearth the names behind the ownership of over 20 planes that are leased from different owners.
