Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal has been arrested this morning in his Nairobi home.
The Governor was arrested by EACC officials and is being grilled at the Intergrity Centre over alleged economic crimes as well as office of office.
DPP Noordin Haji said there is enough evidence to arraign the governor with 13 others in court over various offenses including conflict of interest.
The Governor is mainly accused of trading with the county through a fuel station from 27th March 2013 to date.
“The Governor failed to disclose his interest in the service station and it is clear that he3 engaged in conduct that is expressly prohibited in law.” The statement reads.
