Was the Maize Vendor in DP Ruto’s Dandora visit one of his aides?

Did Deputy President William Ruto’s team fake the act of him buying maize on a road side is a question we may never get an answer to.

However a photo has surfaced showing that the alleged maize seller in Dandora could be a staff in the DP’s office.

In the video, DP Ruto got the mahindi choma vendor on her knees after he went to purchase from her some cobs of maize.

He then called on onlookers to share maize with him and paid sh10,000 for it.

After giving her the money, the unidentified woman, went on her knees in what seems like a gratitude act.

In a different photo, a woman who looks similar to the maize vendor is captured among the many aides and security officers who are always with Kenya’s second most powerful man.

A similar instance in 2018 left mentioning whether the DP purchases foodstuff on roadside in prepplanned stunts or it is pure coincidence. after he bought maize from one Joseph Mutua at the Kwa Maiko market in Githunguri, Kiambu county.

He would later be claimed to have been the DP’s bodyguard, allegations that were later rubbished after the man went on a TV interview.
